Good cinematography isn’t seen… it’s felt.

That’s my humble take. I’ve never believed cinematography is about chasing pretty pictures first, it has always been about emotions first.
Aesthetics are the finesse, the polish; but emotion is the heartbeat that gives meaning to every frame.
In the world of cinema, we have this strange and beautiful privilege: to translate intentions from script to screen...
The quiet choices of a character, the subtle meanings between lines, the unspoken weight of silence.
Cinematography is, at its core, the art of guiding the audience’s eye to savour the right detail at the right time.
At 17, I have discovered that a good film isn’t the one that gets people saying, “Wow, that looked great.”
It’s the one that gets them talking afterwards, the one that lingers in their heads on the bus ride home.
Even in commercials, we stir desire, longing, and connection.
That is why narrative work will always be my first love. Story is king. Without a story, a frame is just a creamy blend of colours.
They're pleasing to look at, but empty. With story, those same colours come alive, layered with meaning, resonance, and memory.
